Covering more than two million hectares, the Kruger National Park is South Africa’s largest park and is home to all of the Big Five – buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard and rhino. On the borders of Kruger are a number of fenced private game reserves with their own animal stocks and which carefully control visitor numbers to ensure a consistent, high quality experience.

Visitors to the area can enjoy a wide range of memorable experiences such as exhilarating guided bush walks, a bush dinner under the stars or exploring on a dawn or dusk safari led by experienced, knowledgeable guides aboard a customised safari vehicle.

Visits to local villages and community schools can often be organised to learn more about the local heritage and history and give travellers an authentic, real African experience. Many of the lodges and camps offer a range of activities such as spas, river cruises and African music and dancing.
