Days 1 and 2: London to Cape Town
Fly overnight from London to Cape Town.
Days 2 to 5: Cape Town – Meals: Breakfast
Spend three days in Cape Town exploring this iconic city. Time at leisure to explore. Maybe take the cable car up Table Mountain, visit Nelson Mandela’s prison on Robben Island, explore the Waterfront and more. There is plenty to do and enjoy including great food and wine. We include a full day Cape Point tour which takes you along the scenic coastal road to Camps Bay, the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay and the 12 Apostles Peaks. You can see the point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Visit Boulders Beach home to Jackass penguins before returning to Cape Town to beautiful and fascinating Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
We also include a full day tour to the Winelands, just a few hours from Cape Town. We stop in the pretty village of Franschhoek and in Stellenbosch, taking in two wineries where we enjoy tastings of some of the best South African wines.
Day 6: Cape Town to Victoria Falls.
Days 6 and 7: Victoria Falls – Meals: Breakfast
Your holiday continues with a spectacular highlight – awe-inspiring Victoria Falls. With two days to explore you can view the falls from the air, by train or on foot. You may also have time for a canoe trip down the Zambezi River. We include in your holiday a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river taking in the local game – hippos, elephants, crocodiles and innumerable birds as well a spectacular sunset. We also include a half day tour of Victoria Falls with a guided walk through the rainforest.
Day 8: Victoria Falls to Chobe, Botswana.
Road transfer from Victoria Falls to Chobe, Botswana.
Days 8 to 10: Chobe National Park, Botswana – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Botswana offers some of the best game viewing and best camps in Africa. Over two days in Chobe you can expect to encounter plentiful wildlife including lions as well as large herds of antelopes, buffalo and elephants. Bird life is also prolific with fish eagles, herons and waders in the wetlands areas.
Day 11: Chobe National Park to Kasane airport then Johannesburg to London
Transfer to Kasane airport for flight to Johannesburg to London.
Day 12: London
Arrive back in UK.
