Chobe National Park

A game-rich area including some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. Chobe is one of the best places in Africa to see elephants, with herds sometimes of hundreds of elephants and an estimated 120,000 in total in the park.

There are equally large herds of buffalo, and lion and leopard sightings are frequent. The river has an abundance of hippos and crocodiles as well as plentiful birdlife, including a number of particularly rare species.

Maybe also spend some time learning to punt a traditional canoe in search of birds and animals. Whatever your choice, there is more than enough to keep every amused.
