Example Itinerary

Days 1 and 2: London to Johannesburg to Maun

Fly overnight from London to Maun via Johannesburg.

Days 2 to 5: Okavango Delta – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Four days to explore the vast and diverse landscapes of the Okavango Delta, home to some of the world’s most endangered species of large mammal, such as the cheetah, white rhinoceros, black rhinoceros, African wild dog and lion. This world heritage site is one of the best places in the world for game viewing, especially during the annual floods which attract many different animals including the Big Five. Morning and afternoon game drives are in specially adapted 4×4 with experienced local guides and boat and canoe safaris allow you to explore even further into the delta.

Day 6: Okavango Delta to Chobe

Transfer to Chobe National Park.

Days 6 to 7: Chobe National Park – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Two days in Chobe National Park where the terrain and landscapes are different to Okavango Delta. Chobe is one of the best places in Africa to see elephants with herds sometimes of hundreds of elephants and an estimated 120,000 in total in the park. There are equally large herds of buffalo and lion and leopard sightings are frequent. The river has an abundance of hippos and crocodiles as well as plentiful birdlife including a number of particularly rare species.

Day 8: Chobe National Park to Kasane to Johannesburg to London

Transfer by road to Kasane airport for your flight back to London via Johannesburg.

Day 9: London

Arrive back in London.
