A chic boutique hotel located on Barbados’ less developed and scenic east coast.

The Atlantis Hotel is one of Barbados’ oldest hotels, dating back to the 19th century, which owners Andrew and Patricia Warden have carefully restored to its former splendour. With just 10 rooms and suites and a fabulous restaurant right on the Atlantis Ocean, this hotel is an ideal escape for many visitors to the island after the more ‘hectic’ west coast.

The Atlantis Hotel is in a spectacular position on Barbados’ east coast, where it enjoys constant sea breezes that are delightfully cooling. The owners are closely involved in the day-to-day operation of the hotel and it is their oversight that has created a hotel offering unpretentious luxury. Life at The Atlantis revolves around the beach, swimming pool, restaurant and bar. There is also an upstairs reading lounge where you can escape the sun and relax in peace. The décor throughout is in muted shades with splashes of coloured fabrics and lots of wood.

The Atlantis restaurant serves delicious food with a great selection of wines, personally chosen by the owner. This is ‘the’ place for Sunday lunch – a West Indian buffet – a long standing tradition of the original hotel, which has been reintroduced. Now that the hotel has been refurbished you can once again enjoy the most delicious Caribbean flavours in this most stylish setting.
