The M/V Desafo is an elegant, classical schooner offering guests old world charm coupled with a comfortable, intimate atmosphere on Brazil’s Amazon. With only 12 cabins, the boat is small enough to explore remote areas and for passengers to get to know each other though still spacious enough to provide modern comforts.
Cruises start and finish in Manaus and explore as far as the Anavilhanas Islands on the Rio Negro and Amazon. En route guests take daily excursions with experienced guides by motorised boat, canoe and on foot learning about the area and its biology. There are also visits to local river communities to learn about their unique culture and lifestyle. There is a sun deck, deck bar, video room and dining salon where freshly prepared local and international dishes are served.

• MV Desafo has 12 recently enlarged and updated cabins on two decks with double, twin or bunk beds, private bathrooms with hot shower, air-conditioning and safe.
