Surrounded by spectacular mountains, accommodation at Mowani Mountain Camp is ideal for travellers wishing to stay at a luxurious base in order to explore southern Damaraland with its geological and archaeological highlights. There are no specific childcare activities though children over 12 are welcomed.
Guided nature game drives and hikes are arranged in search of the elusive desert elephant as well as tours to the historical site of Twyfelfontein and other archaeological sites of interest. The camp has an attractive rock swimming pool and plenty of secluded spots to relax and enjoy the scenery. A delicious, locally-inspired menu is served indoors or al fresco to make the most of the dramatic location.
