Located on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta, Machaba Camp is perfectly positioned to make the most of the area’s abundance of wildlife. Independently run and owned, it offers a classic 1950s style safari experience with added modern comforts.
Game drives are held twice daily led by experienced guides. Guided walks, canoe excursions and cultural visits to local villages can all be arranged. Families are welcome, though some activities are age restricted.
There is a swimming pool. For keen photographers, there is a game hide overlooking the river. A spa therapist offers treatments including massages and facials. Wholesome meals based on local dishes and cuisine are served either by candlelight or in front of the camp fire.
