Kura was conceived and created by an architect and biologist – a husband and wife team – to be a sustainable and stylish getaway. Perched in the hills above Uvita on the Pacific Coast, it is a 30 minute drive to Ballena Marine National Park, where the sandy beach is excellent for swimming and the jungle ripe for exploring.
Surf lessons, white-water rafting and boat trips through the Sierpe River’s mangroves can be arranged. Certified divers can even take a day trip an hour offshore to Isla del Cano, well known for swimming with manta rays, turtles and dolphins.
