Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica is a rainforest lodge, adjacent to the lush Tambopata National Reserve.

A welcoming haven situated at the heart of a 30,000 acre private ecological reserve, this lodge offers land and river excursions that introduce guests to the magic of the rainforest. This simple lodge has been an ecotourism pioneer since opening in 1975, promoting sustainable use of the forest and supporting scientific investigations.

Excursions take guests into the forest and along the river during the days. The lodge also has balconies for bird watching and stargazing and evening nature presentations. To relax, guests can enjoy a massage in the spa, a drink in the bar or swap stories in one of the lounge areas. The dining pavilion, built around the strangely beautiful trunk of a strangler fig, offers well presented cuisine, prepared using local ingredients and native techniques.
