On the tiny Grenadine island of Mustique, 3 miles long by half a mile wide, Cotton House is situated in 13 acres bordered by Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans. Mustique is synonymous with exclusivity and Cotton House is the place to stay, offering 17 rooms and suites in hideaway luxury.

Many guests are content to unwind on the beach or by the pool. Non-motorised water sports equipment is available – kayaks, pedalos, Hobie Cats, wind surfers, scuba mask and fins. Day trips to neighbouring islands such as Bequia and Petit St. Vincent, fishing trips and diving can all be arranged. The Cotton House has two tennis courts and seven more are available nearby. You can safely explore Mustique on foot though there are no marked trails. The adventurous can find the remains of sugar mills, slave quarters and plantation houses.

The colonial Great Room Bar is the focal point of the hotel, where guests mingle, meet and relax. Another popular meeting place is Basil’s Bar. On stilts at the water’s edge, it is an ideal location to watch the sunset.

Lunches to savour are taken at the laid-back Beach Café, whilst dinner is an informal yet suitably refined affair on the Veranda of the Great Room. Limited children’s entertainment is available (story hour and small local children’s playground), and at certain times, a programme of children’s activities may be arranged.
