The hotel has been built from scratch by entrepreneur Bengt Mortstedt, with ideas gleaned from the very best experiences he collected during his extensive worldwide travels. It has a modern Colonial style that combines luxury, elegance and charm with a unique flair reminiscent of the 50’s.
The hotel is situated on one of the best beaches on Bequia with views across to other Grenadine islands in the distance. It is the perfect spot from which to indulge in quiet relaxation, experience Bequian life and activities, plus a chance to sample some delicious Bequian cuisine. The restaurant – Bagetelle – situated right on the beach, offers casual dining. International chefs with Michelin-star experience join the kitchen team in the winter season.
There is almost no need to go beyond the beach as it is heavenly. As an alternative, though, you may wish to dip into the two swimming pools and laze under the pool gazebos. There is a gym and spa where you can enjoy massages and treatments to make you even more relaxed!
