Three days in Zimbabwe’s largest national park, which measures over fourteen thousand square kilometers in size. Its landscapes range from near desert to forests and woodlands, so it is home to a huge variety of birds and animals. Guides are excellent and lead bush walks and day and night game drives. In Hwange you can expect to see over a hundred different types of mammals including lions, leopards and cheetahs. The park is noted in particular for its enormous population of elephants. On returning from your game drives there will be time to relax, take a swim in the pool and enjoy the cuisine.

Days 6 and 7: Victoria Falls – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Two days to explore Victoria Falls and the surrounding area. Marvel as the mighty Zambezi River drops 100 metres into a narrow gorge. Water cascades over the falls with a roar in a cloud of mist. View the falls from the air, train or on foot. Thrill seekers may choose to bungee-jump, zip-wire or white water raft on the Zambezi. We include a more sedate pastime – a sunset cruise on the Zambezi sipping cocktails as the sun sets over Africa. There will also be time for canoe trips down the river, to visit the local town and go on a game drive or two.
