This safari takes in all of Uganda’s best wildlife viewing opportunities. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for on-foot rhino trekking, Murchison Falls National Park to view the mighty falls and participate in game drives, Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking and numerous walks, Bigodi Wetlands for spectacular birdlife and rewarding nature walks, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gentle giants (gorillas in Uganda), allowing each and everyone to have a complete wildlife experience.

Your itinerary

Day 1: London to Entebbe

Fly to Entebbe, the starting point for your wildlife experience

Days 2 and 3: Ziwo Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls

An on-foot rhino safari to observe southern white rhinos in this sanctuary. Visit spectacular Murchison Falls and go on safari in the National Park, where you can expect to see lions, leopards, elephants, and many bird species. Take a boat safari on the Nile, where you will see hippos, crocodiles and, once again, more birds.

Days 4 and 5: Kibale Forest

Chimpanzee trek to see these fascinating animals in their natural habitat. Swamp walk in Bigodi, where, in addition to monkeys and birds, you will meet the local community and see how they grow and harvest coffee.

Days 6 and 7: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

The highlight of the itinerary arguably is trekking with gorillas. Your guide will lead you through the forest to see them in their natural habitat.

Days 8 and 9: Lake Mburo National Park

Home to many reptiles, including crocodiles, snakes and lizards, as well as buffalo and waterbucks. Take a morning safari on foot through the park and walk alongside giraffes – another truly memorable experience.

Day 10: Mabamba Swamp

A final chance to enjoy more of Uganda’s wildlife in the swamp, you can expect to see a wide array of birds, including majestic shoebill storks.

Day 11: Flight to UK

Flight back to the UK.
