Days 1 and 2: London to Cape Town

Fly overnight from London to Cape Town.

Days 2 to 4: Cape Town – Meals: Breakfast

Three days in Cape Town where there are plenty of family friendly activities and places to see including the Aquarium, Table Mountain or visit the penguins on Boulders beach. Cape Town also has some magnificent beaches with plentiful watersports opportunities. We include a self drive car so that you can explore Cape Town and the surrounding Cape at your own pace.

Day 5: Cape Town to Cape Whale Coast

A short drive to the Cape Whale Coast.

Days 5 and 6: Gansbaai – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Stay at a private nature reserve and eco paradise with activities for all. Guided walks and tours unveil the natural treasures of this area including the Marine Big Five. With children fully occupied, parents may even ‘escape’ for a wine tour or for a spa treatment.

Day 7: Gansbaai to Garden Route

Start your scenic drive along the Garden Route.

Days 7 to 9: Garden Route – Meals: Breakfast

The Garden Route is known for its scenery. There are, though, in addition many family-friendly land and water sports as well as activities including horse trails, an elephant sanctuary, Monkeyland and Birds of Eden, the largest aviary in the world.

Day 10: Plettenberg Bay to Eastern Cape Game Reserve

Drive to Port Elizabeth and on to your game reserve.

Days 10 to 12: Eastern Cape Game Reserve – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The perfect conclusion to your family holiday – on safari in a malaria-free game reserve. Whatever your age you will be captivated by the wildlife and enjoy searching with your guide for the Big Five.

Day 13: Game Reserve to Port Elizabeth to London

Transfer to Port Elizabeth for your overnight flight to London via Johannesburg.

Day 14: London
