Days 1 and 2: London to Nairobi to Arusha
Fly overnight from London to Kilimanjaro via Nairobi, then by road to Arusha.
Days 2 and 3: Arusha – Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Two days in Arusha to recover and explore the local area. A tour of a coffee plantation is a fascinating experience, and Arusha National Park is perfect for walking, canoeing and short game drives.
Day 4: Arusha to Lake Manyara
Transfer by road to Lake Manyara.
Days 4 and 5: Lake Manyara – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Scenic Lake Manyara offers excellent game viewing. Its diverse habitats attract a wide range of animals and birds, including elusive tree-climbing lions, possibly its most well-known residents, and enormous flocks of migratory pink flamingos.
Day 6: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
Transfer by road to Ngorongoro Crater.
Days 6 and 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to some of the world’s most spectacular wildlife. Large herds of zebra and wildebeest and exceptional numbers of black rhinos roam the crater, as well as large populations of lions, cheetahs and leopards.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
Transfer to Serengeti National Park, taking in the wonderful scenery en route.
Days 8 and 9: Serengeti National Park – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
The vast plains of the Serengeti are known especially for cheetah, leopard, lions and the great wildebeest migration – an annual spectacle not to be missed.
Day 10: Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
Days 10 to 13: Zanzibar – Meals: Breakfast
After days of dawn safaris, four days to relax on beautiful unspoilt beaches, swimming and snorkelling in crystal clear waters above pristine coral reefs.
Day 14: Zanzibar to London
Time to catch your flight back to London.
