Days 1 and 2: London to Windhoek

Fly overnight from London to Windhoek via Johannesburg.

Day 2: Windhoek | Meals: Breakfast

A day to explore Windhoek with its picturesque German style architecture and the Alte Feste and State Museum.

Day 3: Windhoek to Sossusvlei

Transfer to Sossusvlei by light aircraft.

Days 3 and 4: Sossusvlei | Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

The striking red sand dunes are a photographer’s dream. Despite the hostile environment with daily temperature ranges of up to 40 degrees, animals have adapted and ostrich, springbok, hyena and foxes can all to be seen as well as true desert dwellers.

Day 5: Sossusvlei to Swakopmund

Transfer to Swakopmund by light aircraft.

Days 5 and 6: Swakopmund | Meals: Breakfast

Swakopmund, Namibia’s top beach resort, also offers adventure activities such as sandboarding, quadbiking and hot air ballooning. The Namib Desert nearby is also worth exploring as is Cape Cross for its seal colony.

Day 7: Swakopmund to Twyfelfontein

Transfer to Twyfelfontein by light aircraft.

Days 7 and 8: Twyfelfontein | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner including activities

Two days to explore this world heritage site with its amazing rock engravings, undertake an elephant nature drive and marvel at the scenic beauty.

Day 9: Twyfelfontein to Etosha National Park

Transfer to Etosha by light aircraft.

Etosha, an enormous silvery white sand salt pan is one of Africa’s best game reserves. Large herds of animals can be seen against the backdrop of this spectacular landscape. Elephant are common as are zebra, giraffe and large herds of  springbok with good numbers of lion, leopard and cheetah too. The secretive black rhino may also be observed.

Day 11: Etosha to Windhoek | Meals: Breakfast

Final day to enjoy Windhoek and for any last minute buys.
