Day 1: London to Mexico City
Fly to Mexico City, Mexico’s capital city.
Days 1 to 3: Mexico City | Meals: Breakfast
Three days to enjoy the archaeological and historical sights of this fascinating city. Mexico City is a great place to walk around, with beautiful colonial architecture, fascinating museums and ruins telling the tale of the nation’s Aztec past. We include a half-day city tour as well as a full-day guided tour of the ancient Teotihuacan Pyramids and Guadalupe Shrine, including lunch.
Day 4: Mexico City to San Miguel de Allende | Meals: Breakfast
Drive from Mexico City to San Miguel de Allende for a day in this beautiful colonial city. This charming town of steep cobbled streets and colonial buildings is best explored on foot or by soaking up the atmosphere in the main plaza. Guided tour of the city centre and overnight stay.
Day 5: San Miguel de Allende to Puebla | Meals: Breakfast
Drive from San Miguel de Allende to Puebla, one of Mexico’s oldest cities renowned for its food and baroque architecture. We include a guided tour of the city centre as well as an overnight stay.
Day 6: Puebla to Mexico City and Yucatan Peninsula
Drive from Puebla to Mexico City for a flight to Yucatan Peninsula.
Days 6 to 8: Yucatan Peninsula | Meals: Breakfast
Explore ancient Mayan ruins, rainforests, caves, colonial cities and natural wonders for three days. Our itinerary gives you a chance to visit a number of the most impressive, still surrounded by jungle, with soaring temples and important Mayan ruins.
Day 9: Yucatan to Mayan Riviera
