Example Itinerary

Days 1 and 2: London to Nairobi to Entebbe to Kasese (Uganda)

Fly overnight from London to Entebbe via Nairobi. Then catch your short flight from Entebbe to Kasese airstrip.

Days 2 to 4: Kibale National Park (Uganda) | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Well known for its chimpanzee trekking this is a great place to start your trip. You will also most likely see other primates on your treks as well, as Kibale is home to thirteen primate species and one of the best places in Africa for primate tracking.

Day 5: Kibale National Park to Bwindi National Park (Uganda)

Transfer from Kibale to Bwindi National Park.

Days 5 and 6: Bwindi National Park | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Your next two days are spent in Bwindi National Park in the south west of Uganda. The dense foliage of these mist-shrouded slopes provides a safe haven for an estimated three hundred gorillas, half of the total number still alive in the world.

Day 7: Bwindi National Park to Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda)

Transfer to Rwanda and the Volcanoes National Park.

Days 7 to 9: Volcanoes National Park | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda borders Bwindi National Park in Uganda. So for three more days you will have more chances to observe huge gorillas that can grow to three times the size of a man.

Day 10: Volcanoes National Park to Kigali

Transfer by road to Kigali.

Days 10 and 11: Kigali | Meals: Breakfast

Your final two nights are spent in Kigali, Rwanda’s modern capital. It is a friendly city with much to explore including museums and the moving Kigali Genocide Memorial.

Day 12: Kigali to Nairobi to London

Today you fly back to London via Nairobi.

Day 13: London

Arrive back in London.
