Example Itinerary

Days 1 and 2: London to Nairobi to Entebbe to Kasese

Fly overnight from London to Entebbe via Nairobi followed by a short flight to Kasese airstrip.

Days 2 to 4: Kibale National Park | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Three days in Kibale National Park, home to thirteen primate species and one of the best places in Africa for chimpanzee tracking with an estimated one thousand four hundred resident in the park. The dense forest is also home to an estimated five hundred elephants as well as buffaloes, leopards and many species of birds, which you may also be lucky enough to see.

Day 5: Kibale to Bwindi National Park

Transfer by road to Bwindi National Park.

Days 5 and 6: Bwindi National Park | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Spend two days in this world heritage listed national park, an absolute must for gorilla trekking. It is estimated that about half of Uganda’s seven hundred gorillas live in this ancient forest. During your stay you will also be able to enjoy a community or forest walk or visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 7: Bwindi National Park to Lake Mburo

Transfer by road to Lake Mburo enjoying the wonderful scenery en route.

Days 7 and 8: Lake Mburo | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Lake Mburo is an area of grasslands, swamps and lakes. The change in habitat is reflected in the animals to be seen, with over three hundred and fifty species of birds, many hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and zebra and occasional sightings of leopard and lion. Activities available are different too with game drives, boat trips and horse riding or simply relaxing by the pool of your lodge or camp.

Day 9: Lake Mburo to Entebbe to London

Road transfer to Entebbe for your flight to London via Nairobi.

Day 10: London

Arrive back in London.
