Days 1 and 2: London to Cape Town

Fly overnight to Cape Town.

Days 2 to 4: Cape Town – Meals: Breakfast.

So many ‘must sees’ from Table Mountain to the renovated Victoria & Alfred Waterfront dock area with its plentiful restaurants and bars. Discover the dark history of apartheid with visits to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, and District Six apartheid museum.

Day 5: Cape Town to Winelands.

A short drive to Franschhoek.

Days 5 and 6: Franschhoek: Meals : Breakfast.

South Africa’s Winelands are home to some of the country’s best vineyards. Franschhoek in the heart of the Winelands is a picturesque village with many fine restaurants and ideally located as a base for exploring local vineyards and tasting their wines.

Day 7: Garden Route.

Leave Franschhoek for your drive along the Garden Route.

Days 7 to 9 : Plettenberg Bay : Meals : Breakfast.

For three days enjoy the beautiful scenery of the garden route from mountains and scenic landscapes to beaches of white sands and crystal clear waters. Plettenberg Bay itself has fine beaches and offers watersports and whale watching opportunities. On land hiking, mountain biking and horse riding are popular. In the evening enticing restaurants abound, with seafood a speciality of many.

Day 10: Plettenberg Bay to Game Reserve.

Drive to your game reserve near Port Elizabeth.

Day 10 to 12: Game Reserve : Meals: All inclusive including activities.

For many the highlight of their holiday – on safari in a malaria-free game reserve. Explore on day and night game drives with experienced guides tracking the Big Five. As you come to know the reserve you will also appreciate the many other animals, extensive bird life and beautiful scenery.

Day 13: Game Reserve to Port Elizabeth to London.
