Campania
Campania is a region located in southern Italy, known for its picturesque coastal towns, ancient ruins, and delicious cuisine. The region’s capital, Naples, is home to many historical sites, including the Royal Palace of Naples and the Cathedral of San Gennaro.
Positano, a favourite of ours, sits on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean Sea with its pastel-coloured houses, winding streets, and beautiful beaches.
Pompeii, an ancient Roman city preserved by ash and pumice after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79, is also a popular tourist destination.
The Amalfi Coast, with its beautiful beaches, clear waters, and charming towns, is a must-see for any traveller to Campania. Other popular destinations in the region include the Isle of Capri, the ancient city of Paestum, and the towns of Sorrento and Ravello.
