  • Private walking tour of Genoa, one of the largest medieval historic centres in Europe, a maze of alleys and small squares.

  • Monterosso with wine tasting and lunch in local restaurant and Erice, a magnificent medieval city in a spectacular setting where you visit a traditional pastry shop

  • Agrigento, with lunch in a local restaurant before a guided tour of the amazing Valley of the Temples, testament to the ancient Greek civilization in Sicily

  • Syracuse, one of the most important and strategic political centres in ancient Greece, with the archaeological park and the ancient heart of the old city – Ortigia Island. A wine tasting is included.

DAY 1 – Genoa

Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Time to settle in. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Genoa. (B)

DAY 2 – Genoa

After the breakfast at the hotel your tour voyage of discovery begins with a private city tour. The 113 hectares Historic Centre of Genoa is one of the most extended medieval Historic Centre of Europe and is the most densely populated. The Genoese Historic Centre is a maze of alleys (caruggi) that unexpectedly end up in small squares, that, as well as the churches that dominate them, belonged to important noble families. Balance of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Genoa.. (B, E)

DAY 3 – Monterosso

After breakfast, own transfer to the train station and board your train to Monterosso. Arrival in Monterosso and private transfer from the train station to your hotel and check-in. In the afternoon free time to spend in Monterosso. Overnight in Monterosso. (B)

DAY 4 – The Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore, Vernazza , Manarola

Breakfast in hotel. Meeting point with your private guide for your full day excursion. Between Punta Cavo di Montenero and Punta Mesco there are the famous Cinque Terre, a unique geographical area, rich in tiny peninsulas and bays. In 1997 the area was awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO. Departure from Monterosso train station and arrival in Riomaggiore, visit of this village characterized by high and colourful houses, winding alley and tiny squares. Proceed by the Cinque Terre express train and arrival in Vernazza, visit “La Perla” of the Cinque Terre, the village is located in a splendid position, perched on one spur surrounded by the sea. The colourful houses, the medieval fortifications and the church of S. Margherita constitute an urban-architectural complex of considerable impact visual. The small square overlooking the sea is one of the most evocative of the Cinque Terre. Continue by train in the direction of Manarola, visit of the village stain of bright colours among the green of the vineyards and of the terracing, among the most famous images of the Cinque Terre, stands out that of the Marina di Manarola immortalized by Punta Palaedo. Train to back to Monterosso and here overnight at your hotel. Overnight in Monterosso. (B, E)

DAY 5 – Cinque Terre, Monterosso

After breakfast meeting with the guide at your Hotel in Monterosso and visit the “biggest” of the Terre. The station is located on the seafront of the “new” country called “Fegina” through a beautiful promenade along the seafront it arrives in the country “Vecchio”, from here after a short ascent of 5 minutes we arrive at the estate of one of the most active farms in the area, where after the visit will be carried out a tasting of Doc wines accompanied by a snack based on local, typical products. In the afternoon visit of the Convent of the Cappuccini Friars, the complex was awarded the 1st place in the FAI ranking “Places of the heart” 2015 edition. Back to your Hotel and overnight stay in Monterosso. (B, E, T, LL)

DAY 6 – Portovenere

After breakfast meeting with the guide at your Hotel in Monterosso, departure by boat to Portovenere, the long coastal navigation will give way to admire the entire coast of the Cinque Terre from the sea, arrival in Portovenere and disembarkation, visit of the village that inspired many poets including Lord Byron, in love with the rocky outcrop dominated by the famous Church of San Pietro, one of the most magical places in the whole Liguria. Continue by boat to back to Monterosso and here overnight at your hotel. (B, E)

DAY 7 – Monterosso

Breakfast in hotel. Enjoy one full leisurely day to relax or continue to explore by yourself this marvellous area. Overnight Monterosso. (B)

DAY 8 – Departure

After breakfast, checkout and private transfer from your Hotel in Monterosso to Genoa Airport. (B)
